Happy 2023, my friends! Wishing you a wonderful new year!
I can’t believe it’s time again to share my year in review here on Greenish Bookshelf. As I write this post, it’s snowing again outside and our yard is covered in snow — a beautiful winter wonderland! What a lovely start to the new year!
2022 has been another fantastic reading year for me. I am so pleased with how my blog has continued to support me and my reading life. As the years go by, I find myself as motivated as ever to continue reading and reviewing.
I finished 105 books in 2022!
This must be my new standard as I again met my goal of reading 100 books this year! It was a great reading year and I loved so many of the books that I read!
- 15 ARC Novels Released in 2022
- 21 Read Alouds
- 3 Classics for my 2nd Classics Club List
- 7 Rereads
I published 55 posts!
- I reviewed 47 books and series
- I shared 2 book lists
- I celebrated my 7th blogiversary!
As life gets busier and my kids grow, I am proud that my blog is still a part of my life and that my reading life continues to grow. Thanks for being a part of it!
In 2023, I’m keeping my reading goals simple. Here’s to another great reading year!
Read 100 Books
Share 5 Book Lists
Read 12 Classics including The Count of Monte Cristo
Read 5 Newbery Winners
Share Reviews Regularly
Happy 2023! What are your goals this year?
Congratulations on goals met and goals going forward. I exceeded my books I wanted to read last year and hopefully will read even more next year.

Only read part of HP books first- only because the others were started and finished in 2021.
A Christmas Carol- that is becoming a Holiday Tradition to read each year
