Hi y’all and welcome back to Top 10 Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl! I’m going back to last week’s topic for my list this week: childhood favorites.
I have been a bookworm for as long as I can remember. And I love sharing some of my favorite reads from when I was a kid with my own kids. It’s so fun to see their love of reading flourish!
I’ve included a few novels and a few picture books on this list. My favorite book for a long time as a child was Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs (my dad says I requested it every night). And Harry Potter was the series that really got me reading on my own as a kid. These others are all associated with great memories. Reading is the best! This was a fun list to create. Enjoy!
What were some of your childhood favorites?
My favorites are “The Bobbsey Twins”,The Honeybunch series, “Nancy Drew” , my “Golden Books”and “Little Women”.

My childhood favourite has to be the Warriors series by Erin Hunter, I was obsessed with it! I really hope I get to reread it soon π€π

I loved so many of these! It was so fun to get to read them to my daughter — especially Goodnight Moon.

I also loved Chicken Soup With Rice – I had a tiny palm-sized edition of four of those books ((Alligators All Around, etc.) contained in its own little box and I read them constantly. Great memories!

That’s so fun! My mom bought a 4 board book set of those classics at Costco a few years ago for my kids. We love them π

I don’t think I was read to as a child. The books I read were little Disney books based on the movies. The only book from above that I have read is Harry Potter but I only started to read them when I was a teenager.
