Okay, can you believe we’re heading into May?! I am shocked the year is speeding by so quickly! We have a lot of fun plans this month. It’s going to be busy and crazy and awesome.
April got me back in the swing of reading and reviewing. I feel like I made up for my lackluster March 😉

May goals are a stretch but I’m excited to read a little wider this month!
Reach 35% of my big classic, Little Dorrit by Charles Dickens (Currently at 28%)
I really need to get going on my next classic. I’m thinking to switch my focus a bit and go for a reread. I’m thinking one of these two (drastically different, but both fantastic!)
I’ve been absolutely blown away by this one so far. Hoping to get to the half way point and beyond this month! Read this book! It’s life changing!

I’m reading The Art of the Wasted Day …I’m retired! It’s a really fun book. Just finished Chasing Hillary and it was fascinating. I’ve Been Thinking is on my bedside table…a beautiful little gem of a book. Finished Major Pettigrew’s Last Stand yesterday, and I was so sorry it ended. (As I told you: I love my home California, but I am a major Aglophile). I enjoyed this book in the afternoons with a cup of tea, of course!

Thanks! I am trying to decide which to go to first–March really interests me as I’ve read two Alcott books this year thus far.

Congrats on finishing 7 books! This year is going by so fast. I barely accomplished anything in April, and now it’s over. I’ll be interested to hear what you think of The Underground Railroad. I need to read that one. Happy May!

Well, reading “readings” required for Western Civilization and that class is a gigantic roadblock. I ended up taking Western Civilization this semester and I am a graduating Senior. So the readings for this class along with readings for other classes are what I am reading. Western Civilization has one reading per week and that is a lot.
Over the summer, I will go back to reading for fun .

I will graduate from college in one week.
I do a what I call a classic challenge. Meaning reading a classic in a limited amount of time. Over summer, will be reading Nicholas Nickleby and will expand the deadline till end of September due to being graduated
