Happy New Year to my wonderful bookish friends!
I hope your holiday was full of great food, wonderful family, and good books. It feels so good to be writing on the blog again. I haven’t been able to write for far too long.
We had a great Christmas. In fact, we were so good this year that Santa is coming again this July…
We are so excited and feel so blessed! I’m moving out of my first trimester which has been hard and long. The worst part about this trimester (besides all the sickness) is I have been unable to read. It makes me feel nauseous! So sad! But I am finally starting to feel better and able to think about books. Hoping to get back into reading and blogging over the next few months.
Here’s to a wonderful 2017!
Congrats!!! How exciting! I totally get the nasea thing. With my second baby I had EXTREME morning sickness (also referred to as Hypermesis) which had me in and out of the hospital since I couldn’t keep water down. Doing anything resulted in dry heaving, so I couldn’t read either. It was awful. I hope it eases up soon. I wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy 😊

Thank you so much, Amanda! It is always good to hear I’m not alone in tough first trimesters. That sounds awful! At least I could keep some stuff down. I think I’m finally moving out of the nausea phase and feeling more like myself. I’m reading again which makes me so happy! 🙂 Thanks again for your kind note 🙂
