Top 10 Tuesday: Underrated Beauties

Welcome back to a new week of Top 10 Tuesday hosted by The Broke and the Bookish! This week’s topic is really fun: Top Ten Books We Enjoyed That Have Under 2000 Ratings On Goodreads.

I was surprised to see I haven’t read too many books that have under 2000 ratings on Goodreads. In fact, Idon’t feel like I can put together much of a post based only on books I’ve read. But I have a ton of awesome books on my TBR that fit this category perfectly. So I’m going to combine a few of my favorite reads with a few of my most exciting TBRs. Enjoy!

The Everstone Chronicles by Dawn Crandall // I can’t say enough about how much I love this series. I just finished the 4th book and can’t wait to review it! Check out my reviews of The Hesistant Heiress, The Bound Heart, and The Captive Imposter. Every single one of these books is worth reading!

The Lady and the Lionheart by  Joanne Bischof // I had this recommended to me by the lovely Carrie @ Reading is My Superpower! After reading the synopsis and her review, I can’t wait for this one to come out in about a month!

The Ringmaster’s Wife and A Sparrow in Terezin by Kristy Cambron // I loved The Butterfly and the Violin by Cambron and can’t wait to read these two other novels also by her.

The Heart of Midlothian by Sir Walter Scott // When I read this hefty novel as part of a graduate seminar, I surprisingly loved it. Its not an easy read, but I appreciated the intrigue, character development, and unique Scottish style.

Heartless by Mariss Meyer // According my Goodreads, this technically has less than 2000 ratings right now. I’m sure there will be millions more when it’s officially published later this year. But for now, it makes this list 🙂

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by J. K. Rowling et al // Same thing here. For now, there are under 2000 Goodreads ratings so it makes the cut. Cannot wait for this to be published THIS MONTH!

The Dashwood Sisters Tell All: A Modern-Day Novel of Jane Austen by Pattillo, Beth //I have several of Pattillo’s books on my TBR but this one is under 2000 ratings on Goodreads. Looking forward to this Jane Austen spin off.

What are some of your favorite underrated beauties?

  1. oh yay! Beth Pattillo’s books are so fun – especially for Austenites 🙂 I’m glad to see The Dashwood Sisters on your TBR list as well as The Ringmaster’s Wife and The Lady & The Lionheart. Looking forward to your reviews on those as always 😀 My TTT
