Welcome back to another round of my monthly wrap-up and TBR posts!
Can you believe it is June already? Every month goes faster than the last this year!
I did a lot of fun reading in May:
- I reread The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society for book group. Love this book.
- I read By the Shores of Silver Lake for the #LittleHouseRAL.
- I finished book 8 of War and Peace but I’m waiting on a review until I finish book 9. That did get me to officially half way through this Tolstoy monster! Woohoo!
- And finally, I enjoyed Fablehaven: Keys to the Demon Prison, The Crown, The Bound Heart, and The Butterfly and the Violin (review coming in June) for fun 🙂
Lots of great goals for this first month of summer!
No book group until the fall.
For the #LittleHouseRAL:
The Long Winter by Laura Ingalls Wilder // I can’t remember anything about this book. Looking forward to more Ingalls family!
For the Classics Club:
Heidi by Johanna Spyri // I’d love to finish this one this month!
Book 9, War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy // Just keep swimming…
For my Harry Potter Marathon:
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J. K. Rowling // The one that started it all 🙂
Just for Fun:
The Readers of Broken Wheel Recommend by Katarina Bevald // I’m hoping this one arrives from the library this month!
The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell by Chris Colfer // I got this one for Mother’s Day and can’t wait to read it!
The Captive Imposter by Dawn Crandall // The third installment in the Everstone Chronicles–my new favorite historical romance series!
Jane Austen Ruined My Life by Beth Pattillo // I want to read several of her books and this seems like a fun place to start 🙂
What are you reading this month?
You have some wonderful books lined up for this month. Little House and Harry Potter are favorites of mine. I hope you enjoy your rereads.
