Welcome back to another fun installment of Top 10 Tuesday hosted by The Broke and the Bookish! This week’s topic is Top Ten New-To-Me Favorite Authors I Read For The First Time In 2015. I love that we are doing so many top 10 lists looking back or looking forward. It was great to look back at some of my favorite authors from this year. Not quite 10, but close 🙂 Enjoy!

Marissa Meyer // One of my absolute favorite authors from this year! I have become a groupie of the Lunar Chronicles–still need to get my hands on Winter!! I asked for the entire series for Christmas so I am hoping 🙂 Reviews of first three novels here, here, and here. Review of Fairest coming soon!

Anthony Doerr // I loved All the Light We Cannot See because it is beautiful and moving. Hoping that Doerr publishes more in the future. Check out my review here.

Erin Morgenstern // Another favorite that I hope to read more of! The Night Circus is enchanting and intriguing. A must read for basically everyone 🙂 Fun fact, this was my first review here on Greenish Bookshelf!

Kiera Cass // How I adore The Selection series! It’s just a feel good romance for me. Books I love to reread to experience it over and over. Review here.

Brodi Ashton // I read Ashton’s Everneath series before I started my blog earlier this year. A clever series on the Persephone myth.

Jonathan Safran Foer // I found Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close compelling and unique. I’m glad to have read it. See my review here.

Nina George // I think she only has one novel out, as far as I know. And it truly is a life changing, beautiful story for anyone who loves books. My thoughts here.

Corrie ten Boom // One from my classics club list. I am glad to finally have experienced her beautiful story of faith and hope in times of darkness. Review here.

  2. The Hiding Place is one of my all time favorite books – I’m glad you liked it 🙂
    I am a diehard Lunar Chronicles fan – and I was able to meet Marissa Meyer this year, which was awesome! She is funny, sweet, and humble. I hope you like the rest of the series 🙂
    One of my favorite books I’ve read this year was “Wolf by Wolf” by Ryan Graudin – it was one of my only 5 star books 😉 My favorite author I discovered this year is Intisar Khanani (my other 5 star) – I am basically a fangirl now – she writes truly diverse and unique fantasy novels, and they’re beautiful too.

  5. As I mentioned on your review, The Hiding Place is one of my enduring favorites! So happy to see it included on your list today 🙂 I have Kiera Cass’ series and The Night Circus on my TBR tower – now to just get a chance to read them lol
