Happy Monday, everyone!
Today I have started writing a review of Fairest by Marissa Meyer which follows Levana’s story. As I begin putting my thoughts together, I was reminded of these great quotes from Cress. The one at the top is great for the romantic in me. And the one below shows that true love is possible but it takes work.
“Maybe there isn’t such a thing as fate. Maybe it’s just the opportunities we’re given, and what we do with them. I’m beginning to think that maybe great, epic romances don’t just happen. We have to make them for ourselves.”
Cress, page 513
Now, I am anxiously waiting to read Winter! I asked for it for Christmas so I hope to read it before 2015 is over. I downloaded a sample onto my Kindle and devoured it in a few days. I’m glad I just finished Fairest because the story is fresh in my mind and it also gives a lot of helpful background on Winter herself. Now just 18 days until Christmas!!
Has anyone read Winter? If so, DON’T TELL ME ANYTHING!! 🙂
I just started Winter last night! (My library request finally came through!) Problem is, it’s been almost a year since I read Cress and I’m worried that the details aren’t fresh enough in my mind. We’ll see… I hope Santa brings you what you want!

Oh I’m so jealous you got it from the library so quick! I think I’m still #100 or so on the waitlist! Totally know how that goes with forgetting details. And thanks!
