[Another Bailey Brother]: A Series Review

Hi y’all!

Where does the time go? Can’t believe we are technically in spring now! Hopefully our last bits of snow will melt this weekend and we can really start feeling the springtime vibes. Hope you are enjoying the second part of March and are looking forward to warmer weather.

I am so excited to share my series review of Another Bailey Brother by Jen Atkinson. After reading her Christmas romcom 12 Days of Mistletoe, I knew I needed to read more of Jen’s books. These were so fun!

I love the Bailey family! This series is such a delight. Each book follows the love story of one of the Bailey brothers. I loved all the character crossovers and the tropes were so well done. The characters are fantastic, the love stories are swoony and lovely, & the covers are so adorable! Plus, Jen recently announced that she’s writing ALICE’S STORY & I can’t wait to read it!

Check out the book summaries of each novel on Goodreads:

Levi Bailey has Butterflies
Owen Bailey needs Advice
Miles Bailey gets Down on One Knee
Cooper Bailey is a Cinnamon Roll

Seriously, I love the Bailey family! The family interactions and dynamics are just so fun! They stand up for each other. They tease each other. They help each other. They tell each other the truth even when they don’t wait to hear it. They meddle & they meddle some more. They are fiercely loyal even when they make mistakes especially in love. And I loved the idea of “vulnerable together.”

Each of these books gives us a love story in a classic trope.
*Grumpy/Sunshine
*Friends to Lovers
*Marriage of Convenience
*Enemies to Lovers
And each one just gets better & better! I loved getting to know these characters.

Meredith is unlike any character that I’ve read before & I love her for all her unique, quirky, full living personality. Her focus on experiencing life was so fun & I loved her list. Levi is Meredith’s opposite in many ways & the most delightful grump. Underneath his prickly exterior is a cinnamon roll of a man who loves deeply & fiercely. And while he sometimes drove me crazy as he tried to justify not being with Meredith, when he was finally all in, it was so satisfyingly beautiful.

The dating experiment was a fun twist on the friends to lovers trope. Owen has been in love with Annie forever. Annie has been fighting that potential future for years. It’s obvious that they are meant to be. But it took a while for them to both realize it. I loved when they were finally both all in on their relationship & saw how perfect they are for each other.

I adore marriage of convenience & Miles and Delaney are some of my favorites ever! I love the added twist of her celebrity status and how that changes their love story. I love how he protects and takes care of her. I love how she draws him out of his comfort zone. Their chemistry is obvious from their first interactions. I loved how unexpected and perfect they are for each other. And I really love seeing them in the final book. They made me laugh & cry & feel all the warm feelings.

Cooper really is a cinnamon roll. He’s thoughtful, sweet, & caring. Life hasn’t gone exactly how he hoped, but he is still trying to make good. That starts with his high school enemy, Leah. I want to try all of Leah’s sweet rolls. Plus, she is tough, witty, loyal & sweet. I loved seeing their relationship change & adored every part of their romance from the gusset to Alice’s matchmaking & their tender declarations of love.

This family is special & that makes this series special! These books are cozy and sweet. A perfect series to escape into.
