Merry Christmas!!
I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season filled with joy, laughter and love.
Today I am sharing a few more favorite Christmas books to read with your kids. Enjoy!
Santa Post by Emma Yarlett // This book is so fun! Santa gets a last minute letter from a little girl but he can’t read what she wants. He writes to different characters around the North Pole for help. As with her other books, Santa Post has the letters in the book and we love opening them up.
Nibbles Christmas by Emma Yarlett // We are big Nibbles fans at our house. This darling countdown book celebrates Christmas with Nibbles with a fun surprise at the end.
S is for Santa by Greg Paproski // I love these alphabet books. The illustrations are beautiful and I love the clever words for each letter. We have several of these books and love them!
Snowmen at Christmas by Caralyn Buehner // If you haven’t read any of the snowmen books yet, I highly recommend them. These darling rhyming books tell the stories of what snowmen do when we aren’t watching. In this one — how do snowmen celebrate Christmas?
Usborne Peek Inside Christmas // We love the peek inside series from Usborne. There are the perfect number of words and lots of clever flaps that my kids love flipping. This one is so fun as we get to peek inside Santa’s Christmas workshop.
Usborne Peek Inside a Fairy Tale: The Nutcracker // These peek inside fairy tales are also so much fun. The books are beautiful with so many nice details. The Nutcracker is a perfect story to tell at Christmas.
The Biggest Christmas Tree Ever by Steven Kroll // We love all the “biggest…ever” books including the apple pie and pumpkin. In this story, the mice friends find the biggest Christmas tree and share it with everyone in an unexpected way.
Pick a Pine Tree by Patricia Toht // This story is so sweet! I love the rhyming storytelling and darling pictures. Finding and decorating a Christmas tree are fun traditions and this book showcases them so well.
Bonus! A Place to Hang the Moon by Kate Albus // This is one of my favorite books that I read this year. It deserves mention on a list of Christmas reads. This middle grade novel has some of my favorite Christmas scenes. It’s a beautiful story about finding family, the power of books, and the importance of home. I highly recommend it!
Merry Christmas, my friends!
