Welcome back to Top 10 Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl! It’s been a bit since I shared a Top 10 list. And I thought this week’s prompt was the perfect one to return on: Books Iād Want With Me While Stranded On a Deserted Island. This is right up my alley as if I was really stranded on a deserted island, books would be the main thing I would want with me. Haha! Enjoy!
The real miracle here is that I managed to stop at 10 books! I could have gone on much longer than that. š And may I add that I would also like to have the scriptures with me. I think those are in their own category so I didn’t include them in my list above.Ā
What books would you want with you on a deserted island?
I would definitely want the HP series and my scriptures with me as well. HP would engage my imagination while also bringing comfort. The scriptures would inspire me, comfort me, AND keep my mind engaged as I pondered life’s deepest questions!
Happy TTT (on a Monday)!

What interesting choices! If stranded on a desert island I think I’d want a big poetry anthology, although it’s hit or miss with those which ones speak to me … maybe I could request one that magically includes all the poems I don’t know yet but that are going to sustain my soul in the desert.

I love that idea! A magic book that gives you the poetry you haven’t read. I think I need one too! š

You have a nice mix of selections here, from children’s books to poetry to Crime and Punishment. The Read-Aloud Family looks interesting, I’ll have to check that out. I’ve had a lot of conversations with my in-laws about how to encourage reading without turning kids off it.
