Hi everyone! Welcome back to Top 10 Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl!
This week’s prompt is Books I Enjoyed but Rarely Talk About (This is for the books you liked, but rarely come up in conversation or rarely fit a TTT topic).Β This was an interesting prompt but I felt a bit stumped by it at first. So I headed to my Goodreads and looked at the books I’ve read over the past several years to see which ones I rarely talk about or return to. An interesting list. Hope you enjoy!
What books have you enjoyed but just don’t talk a lot about?
Wildwood Dancing is such a great book. I read it pretty close after House of Salt and Sorrows so that made it interesting, both being based off the same folk tale.

I enjoyed Wildwood Dancing too! How neat to read two books inspired by the same folk tale so close together. I haven’t read House of Salt and Sorrows–sounds interesting!

The only book on your list I’ve read is ‘Freak the Mighty,’ which I enjoyed. I never read the sequel and the film adaptation was weak in comparison, IMO. I’ve read many great things about ‘Eleanor & Park’ but I haven’t actually gotten around to reading it yet. π

I didn’t know there was a sequel to Freak the Mighty! It’s been several years since I read it. Always a bummer when the film adaptation doesn’t live up to expectations. So many books, so little time right? π

Oh, I loved Eleanor & Park so much! They’re both so sweet and their romance was just the best!

Right?! I remember really enjoying it too! Not sure why I don’t talk a lot about it.

I used to love Rainbow Rowell’s books. I don’t talk about them enough now either.

How funny that we are the same way on those!

Nice! Those are still my only Rainbow Rowell reads. I almost read Attachments once but for some reason didn’t actually start it.

I love Fangirl – such a good book. I wasn’t as fond of Eleanor and Park though.

Nice! I remember liking both. Although truthfully it’s suddenly been years since I read either. Thanks for stopping by π

I enjoyed FANGIRL as well, but I agree – it’s not one I typically think about much. I also love Haddix, although I haven’t read even half of all her many books. I know I started the Among the … series, but I’m not sure where I am with it now.
Happy TTT!

I have also read a good amount of Haddix. I think I read most of the Among the… series. But it’s been years. Happy TTT to you too!
