What has the time gone, y’all? I can’t believe we are officially in April and moving towards Easter! This last month flew by! We are soaking up the spring weather with almost daily trips to the park and a lot more walks. Loving it!
Here’s what happened in March.
I finished 5 books.
I published 5 reviews.
The Saturday Night Supper Club by Carla Laureano
From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E Frankweiler by E. L. Konigsburg
Unequal Affections by Lara S. Ormiston
This is Where You Belong by Melody Warnick
Hitty Her First Hundred Years by Rachel Field
I started 2 books and am nearly finished with my latest eARC (thanks for your patience!).
And here are my big plans for April!
I hope to finish the books I’m reading which includes my latest for the Classics Club.
I hope to read 2 Newbery winners potentially some of these.
I want to get back into my C. S. Lewis reading starting with this one. I’m planning a little chronological reading of his religious writings for the next several months.
And I’m thinking I’d like to do a few rereads (if I can manage it) this month. These are some fun and very different potentials.
What are you reading this month?
I nominated you for the Mystery Blogger Award! See my post: https://whattodothismonth.wordpress.com/2019/04/04/mystery-blogger-award/

Haha! That’s fair! It’s one of my favorites from college actually. Certainly a big one to reread though–I don’t anticipate finishing it if I start this month. But I do highly recommend it!

Wow, you’re rocking it with your reading and goals! Good job. I don’t have any concrete reading plans except for the books I need to read for blog tours. Other than that, I’ll just grab whatever looks good!

I’ve been wanting to read, Marilla of Green Gables. I need to check with our library. Happy Reading! 🙂

I really enjoyed Marilla. I was a bit worried it would mess up the original Anne series for me. But it didn’t. In fact, it really added to Marilla’s story in beautiful ways. Highly recommend!

I love that you’re reading so many Newbery winners, and I hadn’t even heard of Hitty. I really enjoyed North and South and mean to read more by Gaskell. I hope you enjoy it.

Thank you! It’s been fun to read some of these lesser known Newbery winners. I’m about two chapters into N&S and I just LOVE it 🙂
