Books that been on the TBR the longest.

In terms of the classics: I did get like six at once- a family church friend gave them to me either last summer or two Christmas breaks, but still have been the longest classics:

    1. Illiad
    2. Odyssey
    3. Gulliver’s Travels
    4. Kidnapped
    5. Anna Karnenia
    6. War and Peace

Technically, I read Illiad, Odyssey, and Gulliver in high school, but it wasn’t the entire book. This time is the entire thing. The books I mentioned are the classics that have been on my TBR. In addition to the classics, one of my musical theatre books hasn’t been read yet for two years (I believe). There is a 2nd musical theatre book (which I first got last summer). So basically any book I haven’t read the longest hasn’t been touched for 1-2 years.

  2. I had The Life of Pi on my TBR FOREVER, too! I read the first chapter but had to put it down for some reason and never went back. I gave in and took it off my TBR. I just don’t think I’ll ever get back to it. I hope you do, though!

  3. Ah, I so relate to this. My TBR, I’m afraid, may have slightly become a bottomless black hole. To the point where I’m sometimes surprised that certain books are on it, because I don’t remember adding them. xD 1776 was on mine forever, and I even bought a copy of it, but I finally gave up on it after it sat on my shelf for, like, 10 years lol. Hope you have better luck getting to your TBR than I do with mine!

    Here’s my TTT.

      1. I kid you not, I noticed Dread Nation on a $1.99 sale a couple months ago and have been wanting to read it badly, so I went to buy it … I had already bought it. Like, six months prior. Had no idea. It has apparently just been chilling on my Kindle, plotting its revenge. If I had any amount of shame, I’d be embarrassed about it, but I don’t, so that’s that. xD It’s almost like Christmas comes early when I notice I already have a book I wanted LOL.
