Welcome back to Top 10 Tuesday hosted by The Broke and the Bookish!
I was really excited when I saw this week’s topic because its a little different: Ten Childhood Characters You’d Love To Revisit As Adults. As I thought more about some of the characters I would like to see more of, I realized there are a lot characters that have something written about them when their older (as small as an epilogue, as long as another book!). But I found several that I would love to see more of. Enjoy!
Scout Finch // I guess there already is one of these with Harper Lee’s Go Set a Watchman. But I haven’t read that yet so I still wonder what Jean Louise will be like in the future.
Seth and Kendra Sorenson // I love the Fablehaven series and it would be awesome to see where Kendra and Seth end up in the magical preservation world after saving it from the demons. I hope Kendra ends up with a certain boy. Also I hear that a new Fablehaven book is coming out int he next few year. EXCITING!
Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, and Winter // We get some closure from the Stars Above collection of stories which includes a fantastic epilogue to Winter. But I would love to hear more about them 20 years down the road–when they are all married with children. Perhaps they would have to save the world again.
Miri and Peder // At the end of the third Princess Academy book, they are finally engaged. I would love to see what adventures they have and what good changes they create when they are married. Love these books.
Sara Crewe // We know that Sara finds happiness and a home with her father’s friend. But I would like to know more about the woman she becomes.
James (and the Giant Peach) // I loved Roald Dahl’s books as a child and would love to hear more about what happens to a lot of them (Charlie Bucket, Sophie and the BFG, the boy turned into a mouse by the witches) but I always loved James’ story and would love to hear more about his life with his friends after their great flight to New York.
What characters would you love to hear more about?
I’ve seen the characters from the Princess Academy books showing up this week. I need to reading them! 🙂
Thanks for visiting my blog earlier! 🙂

Roald Dahl books are the best! I included Matilda and Charlie in my list, and was so tempted to include more characters from his other books!
His books formed my childhood years 🙂

I didn’t add Scout to my list, but after seeing her on quite a few, I really wish I would have. Sara Crewe has been a popular pick this week too. I never read the book, but I adored the movie as a kid. Great list!

Scout is such a classic character. And I loved A Little Princess the book. And the movie–love that Maggie Smith is in it! So great! 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!
