Hi all! I’m sorry for not posting too much over the past few days. We’ve been hit hard with colds at my house and have been mostly laying down, sipping water, and watching too much TV. But happily we are finally on the mend!
I am super excited to be back with another round of this awesome extravaganza hosted by Rachel @ Beauty and the Bookshelf.
Today’s theme is book spine poetry. Happy World Poetry Day!
I decided to twist this a bit and pick a single line from several books to create a little poetry. I actually really like how it came together. Enjoy!
Maybe
There isn’t such a thing as
Fate.
It always came back to love.
True love
is usually the most inconvenient kind.
Hold something real in your hands
a measure of your worth.
Climb into his skin
and walk around in it.
Open your eyes
and see what you can with them.
What will the sky be saying?
After all this time?
There are never really endings.
Quotes from these great novels:
The Book Thief // To Kill a Mockingbird // Cress // The Goose Girl // All the Light We Cannot See // The Selection // Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows // The Night Circus
I didn’t even think to go outside of the box. Enjoyed your poem.

Ooh, yay for bending the rules a bit! You rebel, you 😉 Seriously though, love what you’ve done with it, and it’s always nice when you can twist the challenge around!
Glad you’re feeling better!
