Hi all! Welcome back to another week of Book Traveling Thursdays hosted by Catia @ The Girl Who Reads Too Much and Danielle @ Danielle’s Book Blog.
This week’s theme is—Because some books stay with us forever!! Choose a book you want to re-read in 2016.
I picked The Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis. I am rereading these out loud to my husband. We are on The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe now so I will focus on covers for that book. Although, I also just love The Magician’s Nephew! These books are the perfect length to read out loud. The chapters aren’t too long and the action is immediate and ongoing throughout the novels.
The cover I own:
I love these covers! They are from the UK, and I love the bright colors.
Favorite Covers:
It was hard to narrow these down. I really like a lot of the ones I have seen!
Least Favorite Covers:
What do you think about these covers?
Which of the Narnia books do you love?
I love book travelling thursdays!!! 😀

The similarities between your last favorite cover and least favorite first are humorous to me. I wonder if it’s the dark/light or the font face? I kind of like the darker one with the almost flipping blue cards, I’m not a fan of the font on the last favorite. I get the whimsy of the font, but I wish they would’ve committed a little more to it! The BBC one is just creepy.

Amen to the creepy BBC one! (technically not a book cover, but still!). Haha I didn’t really notice that in the moment. I guess I didn’t like the first least favorite cover scheme. I don’t really get the blue shapes. There are seriously SO many options to choose from with Narnia though!
