Phase 1 – Initial Attraction: A book that you bought because of the cover?
All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. I love the cover! But I also fell in love with the descriptions and story in this novel.

Phase 2 – First Impressions: A book that you got because of the summary?
Austenland by Shannon Hale. Such a fun and nerdy book.

Phase 3 – Sweet Talk: A book with great writing?
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte and Little Women by Lousia May Alcott. I love these books!

Phase 4 – First Date: A first book of a series which made you want to pick up the rest of the series?
Cinder by Marissa Meyer! It made me fall in love with the Lunar Chronicles.cinder

Phase 5 – Late Night Phone Calls: A book that kept you up all night?
The Selection series by Kiera Cass. I love this love story.

Phase 6 – Always on my mind: A book you could not stop thinking about?
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. Such an incredible, magical journey.

Phase 7 – Getting Physical: A book which you love the way it feels?
I’m not exactly sure what that means. But I love the Barnes and Noble Classics series. The covers are beautiful. And they look awesome on my bookshelves.

Phase 8 – Meeting the parents: A book which you would recommend to your family and friends?
Heaven is Here by Stephanie Nielson and Wonder by RJ Palacio. Everyone should read these books because they teach us about hope, overcoming obstacles, and seeking to understand others who are different than you.

Phase 9 – Thinking about the future: A book or series you know you will re read many times in the future?
There are so many! Harry Potter (of course!), The Chronicles of Narnia, Fablehaven, The Lunar Chronicles. The list goes on!
