Hi everyone! I am so excited to participate in my first Book Traveling Thursday hosted by Catia @ The Girl Who Reads Too Much and Danielle @ Danielle’s Book Blog.
The basics of this meme are so fun. Each week, pick a book that fits the theme they post on Goodreads. Then do a little research on the covers of the book around the world. Pick you favorite and least favorite covers. Post your thoughts and check out other posts from the week.
This week’s theme: December is the month of giving. Choose a book in which a character gives an amazing gift to a loved one!
I decided to pick Little Women by Louisa May Alcott.
This is one of my favorite books, and it reminds me of Christmas and the joy of giving–love, friendship, loyalty, and memories–especially to family. You can read my review here.
I figured there would be a lot of covers for Little Women. What I didn’t expect was how many I actually loved!
Covers I Love:
Least Favorite (a little scary):
I also highly recommend this adaptation. Love the acting, especially Christian Bale as Laurie!
What is your favorite book about giving? About Christmas?
Favorite Little Women cover?
The 1994 Little Women is my favorite movie of all time, and I am rewatching it this year. Love all these covers. Except the scary one. 😛 🙂
