Welcome back to Top 10 Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl!
I think this week’s prompt is so fun: books I wish I could read for the first time again. There are so many fantastic books that blew me away the first time I read them (and many times since). But there is something special about a favorite book read the first time. These are some I would love to experience for the first time over and over. Enjoy!
What are some books you wish you could experience for the first time again?
I love your choices! I would love to be able to read Harry Potter again for the first time. I’ve never read The Book Thief but bought it recently and have heard such good things! x

Thank you, Louise! Wouldn’t it be so great to read HP for the first time? So magical!
And I hope you enjoy The Book Thief! It’s one of my absolute favorites!!

Harry Potter! That first book was like a gateway into another world, I’m sure it changed me as a person. Same goes for Green Gables, reading about Anne with an E was just out of this world.

I completely agree! Both such great books to experience for the first time — and over and over! 🙂

I didn’t get on the Potter bandwagon until the Time Magazine cover when Azkaban came out. I went to the Barnes and Noble and bought a paperback copy of Sorcerer’s Stone, and started reading it on the bench outside. After about ten minutes, I went back in the store, asked if I could exchange the book for a hardback, and bought the first three. I’d love to have that experience again of knowing suddenly how special something is.

I love that story, Lori!! 🙂 There is something so magical about HP. An elementary school teacher of mine read book 1 out loud to our class and I was hooked. Been a Potter fan ever since 🙂

THE SORCERER’S STONE and ANNE OF GREEN GABLES are two books I’ve read multiple times, which says a lot since I rarely re-read books!
Happy TTT!

Thanks, Joyce! I love The Mysterious Benedict Society books. They are so clever and unique. I’ve read nothing else like them! The Disney adaptation is surprisingly good too 🙂
