Love this list!! I hope you’re enjoying the Everstone Chronicles especially — some of my absolute favorites!! So many great historical books here. I also aspire to read more Sir Walter Scott! Ivanhoe is on my TBR! 🙂

Great list! I’ve been slowly trying to read more Dickens over the past few years. My most recent was The Old Curiosity Shop, which I really liked. I’ve never read Oliver Twist (although my sister and I loved the movie version as kids), so maybe that should be next! I really loved Unequal Affections too — I haven’t come across many people who’ve read it. Jane Austen retellings are very hit-or-miss for me. There are a lot of mediocre ones, and only a few that are great — but I’m open to recommendations!

Thanks, Lisa! Oliver Twist is a great Dickens novel. I haven’t read Curiosity Shop but you’ve intrigued me! 🙂 I definitely agree with Austen retellings and spin offs. Unequal Affections is one of the best I’ve read. Have you read Death Comes to Pemberley? I really enjoyed that one!
