September Wrap Up and October TBR

HAPPY OCTOBER, FRIENDS!

im-so-glad-i-live-in-a-world-where-there-are-octobers

I think this is my favorite month of the year. I love fall and all the pumpkin everything. There is so much anticipation this time of year for all the holidays ahead. Perfect time to snuggle up with a good book as well!

* Note: I wrote this post before my London trip so I may finish more books before the end of September. I will try to edit and add those if necessary.

Today I am sharing my September wrap up which was probably my best month of this year for reviews written. I am just about caught up on reviews which feels awesome!

I finished 6 books, mostly rereading Hawthorne House which is fantastic as ever.

I made good progress on Mansfield Park, enjoying this more than I anticipated on the reread.

I published 7 reviews! Super proud of that number this month!

The Secret of the India Orchid by Nancy Campbell Allen
The Cat Who Went to Heaven by Elizabeth Coatsworth
The Vanderbeekers to the Rescue by Karina Yan Glaser
The Screwtape Letters by C. S. Lewis
The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Perilous Journey by Trenton Lee Stewart
The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Prisoner’s Dilemma by Trenton Lee Stewart
The Extraordinary Education of Nicholas Benedict by Trenton Lee Stewart

In October, I’m reading several fun new releases.

I want to finish Mansfield Park for the Classics Club (one year to go on my deadline!)

I plan to read one Newbery winner, hopefully one of these two.

And a few books, as always, that I am hoping to read for fun.

What are you reading in October?

Still in the middle of The Illiad.

October- I will get The Tale of The Cattail Forest back (I believe)- that is the book I writing: so glad it has a working title. So I will finally be able to read it once again and edit it once more.
