Hi y’all! Can you believe we are in July already? I feel like I blinked and June is gone. The last week especially was crazy for me so I’m impressed I read anything at all this month.
Here’s how my June went:
I celebrated 4 years of blogging!
I finished 5 books.
I wrote 3 reviews.
North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell
The Trumpeter of Krakow by Eric P. Kelly
The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart
I shared fun 2 book lists.
*6 Books to read if you love Jane Eyre
*7 Books to read if you love To Kill a Mockingbird
July Goals
This month, we are hopefully moving into our new house. So I am trying to keep these realistic. But I am also excited to get back into normal routines, read more, and review more!
I hope to finish these 2 books I’ve started:
I’d like to read a Newbery winner–possibly one of these:
And then I have a few books on my short TBR that I’m excited about this month.
And I think I will commit to a goal of writing 4 reviews this month. That’s about one review a week. Pretty sure I can handle that 😉
Congrats again on the four years! I still need to read North and South, I’ll get to it one of these days.

Thank you! This was my first read of North and South and I loved it. Why has it taken me this long to read Gaskell? I couldn’t tell you.

I am in the midst of reading all 28 books in the “Elsie Dinsmore” series. I never read them in my youth.

I am reading “Wives and Daughters” by Elizabeth Gaskell. It is 650 plus pages. I am more than halfway through the book. It is quite enjoyable.

I’m glad you’re enjoying it, Marilyn! I aspire to read more Gaskell myself. I didn’t realize Wives and Daughters was so daunting! Way to go!

I’m hoping to read Obsidian by Jennifer L Armentrout because it’s been on my TBR for years and I’ve heard nothing but good things about it

I’m reading (or rather, listening to on audiobook) “All the Lights We Cannot See,” “Fatima in Lucia’s Words,” & “A Night to Remember.” “The Screwtape Letters” is one of my favorites, I hope you enjoy it! 🙂

That’s so cool! I love rereads. I’ve been thinking about doing a reread of All the Light We Cannot See. I bet the audiobook is fantastic!
And thanks!! It’s been a great reread!
