Welcome back to Top 10 Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl!
Today I am throwing it back a few weeks to this prompt: favorite books published in the last 10 years. I was super intrigued by this topic. But with moving and craziness of life, I am weeks behind on actually sharing my favorites. This was a hard list to narrow down. Some years had so many books published that I loved (I’m looking at you 2012). But I managed in the end. So this week, I give you my favorite books published in the last 10 years. One book a year starting with 2009. Enjoy!
**Links to my reviews of all 10 of these books can be found on my Reviews page.
2009: The Help by Kathryn Stockett
2010: Fablehaven: Keys to the Demon Prison by Brandon Mull
2011: The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
2012: Wonder by R. J. Palacio
2013: Dear Mr. Knightley by Katherine Reay
2014: All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr
2015: Circus Mirandus by Cassie Beasley
2016: The Girl Who Drank the Moon by Kelly Barnhill
2017: The Vanderbeekers of 141st Street by Karina Yan Glaser
2018: The Read Aloud Family by Sarah Mackenzie
What are your favorite books published in the last 10 years?
I just read “All the Light we Cannot See” and it is good book. I loved “The Help” but never reviewed it. Great list… I have to look into some of the others (I heard about Night Circus, but never read it).

I’m glad you’ve enjoyed some of these! I highly recommend The Night Circus–I’ve never read anything quite like it!

I loved THE NIGHT CIRCUS and THE HELP. ALL THE LIGHT YOU CANNOT SEE has lovely writing, but it was such a slow read for me that I quit about 1/3 of the way through. I also enjoyed WONDER, although not as much as everyone else seemed to. I haven’t read any of the others, although most of them are on my TBR list somewhere!

Glad you’ve enjoyed some of these 🙂
I think you describe All The Light We Cannot See very well–the writing really is gorgeous. But it is slow. I think in my review I even say something like “this is a book you can’t read fast” haha. It was worth pushing through for me though 🙂
Oh TBR piles–they grow so fast, right? 😉
