Top 10 Tuesday: Favorite Authors TBR

Welcome back to Top 10 Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl!

This week’s topic is Books By My Favorite Authors That I Still Haven’t Read.

It’s a fun and surprisingly hard one for me. I guess when I find an author I like, I read as many of their books as I can. Ha! I did manage to put together a list this week. It’s a bit of a mixed bag, but many of these I do want to read one day. Enjoy!

Which books do you still want to read from your favorite authors?

  1. You’re right, this is quite an eclectic collection! But I see you reflected in all these texts. I also want to read Emily of New Moon; I’ve heard such great things! Other books I want to read from favorite authors? Hm… Definitely Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman and Tales of the Unexpected by Roald Dahl. Oh! and Shanghai Girls by Lisa See. I really loved reading Lisa See’s work.

Unfortunately, I’ve read most of the books my favorite authors have written! XD

      1. Oooh good to hear. I like in your review you said you get inside the characters heads more. Which I suppose I would expect but sometimes even with long books I feel like I only get a surface-level view of the characters if there’s a large cast.

        1. Thank you! It really is impressive how much you get to know so many characters. The first 100 pages or so are all about the priest–that we see for a minute in the musical when Valjean steals the candlesticks. Really neat to get his whole background!
