Welcome back to Top 10 Tuesday hosted by The Broke and the Bookish!
I am super excited about this week’s theme. I feel like they just keep getting better this month! This week we are talking about: Top Ten Things Books Have Made Me Want To Do or Learn About After Reading Them. I think this is such a fun idea! I have loved coming up with this list 🙂 Enjoy!
Live in Regency era Great Britain and fall in love
.
Discover a magical world through a wardrobe, book, or milk.
.
Travel through Europe–visiting the Swiss Alps, French countryside and British islands.
.
Meet Death before I die.
.
Learn to cook French food.
.
Attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
.
Form a best friend’s club complete with reunions and traveling clothes
.
Attend a fabulous ball and dance with my future husband
.
Visit another planet but not get stranded there
.
Write my own book one day
.
One of my favorite topics to date!
What are some things you are doing (or hoping to do) because of books?
Such a great post!! I agree with everything on the list- particularly visiting a planet but not getting stranded there!

I would LOVE to attend a fancy ball, especially one where everyone waltzes and wears extravagant dresses and everything. I always secretly wished that my high school prom could be like that 🙂 Great list!

Oh my goodness! Wouldn’t that be awesome if prom was like that? That would have been cool! I would love to attend a ball someday–I’m sure there are Austen inspired ones out there, right? 🙂

Julie and Julia is actually on my TBR too–because of the movie! Love that show. I just re-watched it last week and remembered how lovely it is. 🙂

It wasn’t a book but a miniseries (Lost in Austen) that I watched which made me want to go back and be a fly on the wall for Lizzie and Darcy’s love story.
And I would love to go to a full on fairytale-esque ball in the wonderful fashion so many books feature.

What a fabulous list! I love so many of these. I’d definitely want to visit regency England, but am not sure I’d like living there. 😉 YAY for a pretty ball (complete with pretty gowns, I do hope).
