Top 10 Tuesday: Beach Reads

Hi All! Welcome to a new week of Top 10 Tuesday hosted by The Broke and the Bookish! This week’s theme is top ten great beach reads. When I think of beach reads, I automatically think of romance and chick lit–something easy and fun to read while I soak in the sun. So enjoy my chick lit inspired beach read list!

Austenland and Midnight in Austenland by Shannon Hale // I love these quirky, fun, and nerdy romances set at a modern day vacation destination focused on all things Jane Austen.

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green // If you want to cry and laugh and cry some more, this is the romance for you.

The Notebook and The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks // Sparks is the quintessential romance writer. And these are two of my favorites.

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han // Honestly, not my favorite read. But definitely perfect for the beach.

Edenbrooke and Blackmoore by Julianne Donaldson // Two absolutely beautiful regency period romances. I love these so much.

The Everstone Chronicles by Dawn Crandall // I am half way through this series and am loving the beautiful romances 🙂

The Selection Series by Kiera Cass // Love these darling books about finding true love.

On my Chick Lit TBR:

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

What are some of your top chick lit reads for the beach?

  1. I don’t have enough hours in the day to read all the Austen-inspired books I WANT to. There are SO many, and I just.. I need them.

Here’s hoping you enjoy them, when you get the chance to pick these books up! Here’s my TTT, if you’re interested in checking it out! Have a great rest of your day!

  2. Chick Lit Beach reads for me would be The Siren by Kiera Cass, The Help by Kathryn Stockett, A Walk to Remember (LOVE THAT ONE) by Nicholas Sparks, and then for me anything from Sarah J. Maas because I just love it all and if I had time to read it, I would. 🙂
