Hi everyone! I’m excited to wrap up March and look ahead to a great month of reading in April. March was hit or miss for reading. We fought some tough sickness at our house so I didn’t read or write as much as I had planned. But it was still a great month of reading. I love these posts because they give me the chance to reflect on my reading and to stay excited about future reading goals.

In March, I read several great books:

For Book Group:

I Heard the Owl Call My Name by Margaret Craven // This Native American novel is a bestseller. Not my typical read but hoping to get into it.

For #LittleHouseRAL:

On the Banks of Plum Creek by Laura Ingalls Winder // We’re back to Laura’s story. Very excited to read this one!

For the Classics Club:

War and Peace, books 7 & 8 by Leo Tolstoy // I am almost half way through this masterpiece! I have to keep my momentum up or I get overwhelmed by the hugeness of this novel.

Heidi by Johanna Spryi // I am still working on this darling novel. Really enjoying the audiobook of it.

For Fun:

The Hesitant Heiress by Dawn Crandall // I am almost finished with this beautiful romance. Hoping it ends as I hope! 🙂

The Butterfly and the Violin by Kristy Cambron // I didn’t get to this one last month but I am excited to read it this month!

Mr Penumbra’s 24 Hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan // This has been on my TBR and almost at the top for months. I have it from the library, and I will read it!

Fablehaven: Secrets of the Dragon Sanctuary by Brandon Mull // I remember loving this novel and can’t wait to read it!

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis // We didn’t quite finish this last month because of our sickness. We are determined this month!

Wow, that’s quite the list of books for this month! I better wrap this up and get reading 🙂 Happy reading this April!

Unfortunately, I do not think I can review your book at this time. I am not currently reading ARCs. And I do not usually read many mysteries/thrillers. So I do not feel as qualified to give your book the most well-rounded review. But please do ask again in the future! All the best, Jane
