This week’s theme is–It’s almost Valentine’s Day! Choose your favorite couple!

I am super excited about this theme, but I also think it’s so hard! How do I choose just one?  Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy, Anne and Gilbert, Ron and Hermione, Cinder and Kai, Cress and Thorne, Jane Eyre and Mr. Rochester, America and Maxon, Anne Elliott and Captain Wentworth, the list goes on!

I decided to choose Marianne Daventry and Philip Wyndham from Edenbrooke by Julianne Donaldon. I absolutely love this book and this couple! I am rereading this book now because it is a beautiful love story. Perfect for Valentine’s Day!

Favorite Covers (besides the one I own):
These are very different and portray very different sides of Marianne–on the left her twirling, country-loving self and on right her grief at the loss of her mother to begin the novel. Both well done!

Least Favorite Covers:
Neither of these covers quite encompass the feel of the story. Her outfit in the left one doesn’t match the time. And the one of the right is just too strange for me. What is going on?

Regardless of these covers, I highly recommend Edenbrooke! It is one of my favorite love stories!
