Hi everyone! Welcome back to Top 10 Tuesday hosted by the fabulous ladies over at The Broke and the Bookish! This week’s theme is Thanksgiving.

I love Thanksgiving for the opportunity to remember all the ways I am blessed! We would take this theme in any direction from books or authors we’re thankful for to fictional characters we’d like to spend Thanksgiving with.

I decided to create a list of some of the bookish things and places I am thankful for. Enjoy!

The Library // I love the library! And I am so grateful that I can enjoy so many amazing books for free!

Hardcover books, especially those pretty editions from Barnes and Noble // There is something about hardcover books for me. They are just beautiful, and I love them. And I love how they look on my bookshelves.

Book Series // I am grateful that many authors write book series so I can enjoy their stories and characters for many more books than just one!

Hole-in-the-wall bookstores // I love browsing in one of a kind bookstores. My husband too me to a neat bookstore last month–30 rooms of pure delightful books. 🙂

Bookshelves // I adore my bookshelves and one day I hope to have a whole library in my house 🙂

Harry Potter and Jane Austen // Nerd moment. Two of my favorite people. Love the Harry Potter story and love Austen’s beautiful novels.

My 2 English Degrees // I’m really grateful I could spend 6 years studying great literature and working with incredible professors and classmates to better understand the beautiful words of great authors.

Children’s books // I love reading to my family and helping them to learn to love reading as I do!

Curling up with a good book on a rainy day // Nothing better. I love getting sucked into a great story and getting lost in great novels while the rain patters on outside.

Books and Reading // I know this is cheesy, but I am so grateful for my ability to read and to experience the great novels of the world. It’s my favorite hobby, and I am grateful for it everyday.
