The Classics Club

Hi friends!

Today I am excited to announce that I am participating in the Classics Club Challenge! I found out about this challenge through some awesome book bloggers, and I’m excited to participate.

Here are the basic rules:

  • List 50+ classic books on your blog
  • Include a timeline up to 5 years from now in which you will finish said classics
  • As you finish classics, post a review on your blog and link to your master list
  • Keep The Classics Club updated on your progress
  • Finish in your timeline and feel awesome!

So my list can be found here. As you can see, its a mixed list of children’s classics and huge classics, adventures and comedies, difficult reads and quick reads. Check it out and let me know what I should read next!

I’m starting with Winnie the Pooh, a lovely little book that I’m reading out loud to my husband. Look for more posts about the Classics Club in the future!

If you haven’t joined the Classics Club, I encourage you to check out their blog here. Happy reading!

I have 4 books in common with your list – Charlotte’s Web, Les Miserables, A Room with a View by E. M. Forster and The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway. I loved your selection and I should be honest saying that my list is quite tough to achieve. I am thinking of removing a few of those chunksters and add few others.

    1. That’s awesome! I must admit I went through several drafts of my list and took off several big ones. I got super ambitious and it became hard to achieve. I figure I can do another list when I finish this one, right? 🙂
